About us

Social, cultural, technological, and ecological challenges are observed at local to planetary levels and are increasingly diverse and interconnected. This requires practitioners and researchers to collaborate beyond the boundaries of singular disciplinary expertise and perspective, and work closely with complexity.

We’re a research group in the School of Design at RMIT University—a collective of transdisciplinary creative practice researchers taking design-led approaches to transformative social actions. We are guided by conditions and ecologies of plurality and an ethos of care.

The capability to collaborate inclusively, openly and plurally for equitable and caring futures in and across key domains such as socioeconomic, spatial, and structural justices; health and wellbeing; place and ecological sustainability, is critical to ensure research impact and inform possible futures.
